PLAY, 2006:

Produced through minimally directed action, “Play” features a group of women along an ocean shore carry objects made out of pink polystyrene that resemble guns.

These interactions introduce gestures of masculine gunplay at the same time implying an eroticism of the female body and a recreation of the tradition of male figures at play by the sea in the canon of 19th century American painting.
