Untitled, 2005: Working within the white box, Lohnes uses store bought and hand poured candy to create a candyland-like installation discussing ideas of play and violence. Her piñatas again make an appearance with the addition of hand made, candy chess pieces on a ribbon candy column and a “spiral jetty” of hand made candy hearts, circles and apples. |
